Strand By Strand Pre-Bonded Hair Extensions
There are many different methods used to apply Hair Extensions. The most popular system out now is the Strand by Strand Pre-Bonded method.

The Bonds are made of special polymers that are pre-attached to small groups of hair near the root to form a strand.
Each Individual Strand is attached using a high tech applicator which softens the polymer bond at the top of the strand so it can be molded easily to the clients own hair.
They are exceptionally light weight and completely non detectable. The Extensions come in a range of colours so can be perfectly colour matched to your own hair.
The Hair Extensions can be worn out or tied up, curled, straightened, cut and coloured. Treat this hair as you would your own. They look completely natural. The Hair Extensions can be easily removed (Don’t attempt to do this yourself) Most importantly your own hair is not damaged.
This Individual Strand Extension method allows your hair extreme versatility, leaving each individual section the ability to rotate up, down, back and forward and in a circular motion just as you own hair would.

As your hair grows out the bonds will start to get lower on the hair. In 4 months they will be about 2” away from the scalp. At this point they may become visible or make styling a little difficult, so it’s time to have them taken out and new ones put in.
Normal wear time is 4 months but if your hair is finer 3 months may be the maximum. If your hair grows slower you could wear them for up to 6 months, but anything past that and you’re risking damage to your own hair.

Weave Hair Extensions
The Weave Hair Extensions have been around for decades, recently woman everywhere are rediscovering its benefits.
The Weave is a perfect short term method for that special occasion such as a Wedding, School ball or if you just want to have 100% Human Hair Extensions for a shorter period of time.
This method lasts between 6 – 8 weeks and uses no glues, heat, waxes or beads and is a safe and affordable temporary method that looks stunning.
What is a weft?
A weft looks like a little curtain of hair attached together at the top and free flowing at the bottom. Machine made wefts come in continuous widths and are then cut to size.
What is a track?
A track is a tiny corn-row (plat) which runs horizontally around the back of your head.
The tracks are done in the middle of your scalp underneath your hairline making them virtually invisible.
Once the tracks are done, the wefts are sewn into them securely using a needle and thread.
The crown area of your own hair covers the top track making the Extensions seem invisible. The first few days of your style, the tracks may feel a little tight, this is normal and to be expected.
After the initial application, the Extensions will need to be tightened every 6-8 weeks depending on how quickly your own hair grows. If you look after the hair properly the hair can be re-used over several months.
This method also is brilliant for thickening up already long hair and you can treat this hair as you would your own including using straightners, hair dryers, curlers and colours. |
